Since you don’t know who the traitor is, you’ll end up killing a bunch of characters you know from the past. There is a traitor among the Dark Brotherhood loyalists in the Cheydinhal Sanctuary, and Lucien Lachance has sent you to exterminate the entire sanctuary in order to cleanse the Brotherhood of the traitor. I think it’s easy to see that Oblivion has some of the best quests in the entire Elder Scrolls franchise.
